Managing Director - Investments
Richard joined Wells Fargo Advisors in 2015 from UBS Private Wealth Management, where he worked as Managing Director in their Century City office since 2008. Prior to UBS, Richard worked for 16 years in the Private Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley. Richard received his M.B.A. from the John E. Anderson School of Management at UCLA. Prior to attending business school, Richard worked in the investment banking department of Salomon Brothers and in fixed income trading at MKI Securities in New York.
Richard received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton in 1986, where he played college football, and serves as a member of the Alumni Schools Committee of Princeton. Now Richard is the team's leader and founder and he serves as the lead relationship manager for The Blosser Reeder Financial Strategies Group.
Richard lives in Westlake Village, CA with his wife Pam and their four children, Caitlin, Kelsey, Robbie, and Molly. Richard is an avid golfer and also enjoys spending time skiing and fishing in Montana with his family.

Ryan began his career in financial services in 1997 at Smith Barney. He later spent nine years at Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown and eight years at UBS Private Wealth Management before bringing his experience and expertise to Wells Fargo Advisors in 2015.
Helping clients understand and interpret complex financial concepts relevant to their situation is one of Ryan's most important priorities. Wealth creates not only unique opportunities but also impactful challenges that require careful consideration and professional guidance. Ryan's focus on quality, not quantity, builds confidence and trust among his client families.
Ryan holds licenses for life, accident, health insurance and variable annuities. His educational background includes earning his B.A., Business, University of La Verne.

With over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Tom provides advice and guidance to high net worth individuals, hedge funds and institutional managers in excess of $5 billion.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors in 2016, he spent four years at Credit Suisse Private Bank where his coverage team provided guidance and trading for a $1.2 billion managed futures Fund and he was regarded as a valuable advisor to Senior management. He also was part of an Advisory council at Credit Suisse regarding new alternative products on the platform.
His career also includes working at Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, Bank of New York Mellon and IBM. At Lehman, he was a Senior Platform Officer, and was responsible for negotiating contracts with asset management companies. He also helped create the first customized Structured Note of its kind during the market turmoil of 2001.
His educational background includes attended the University of Wisconsin before finishing his B.A. degree at the University of Minnesota in Political Science and Speech/Debate.
Tom and his wife Lisa, a University of Southern California graduate, split their time between homes in Westwood and La Quinta, California. They are involved with numerous animal rescue charities and enjoy the outdoors, including hiking, cycling and playing golf.
Tyler began his career in financial services in 2007 at UBS Private Wealth Management while earning his MBA Finance from the Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business. He joined Wells Fargo Advisors, along with the other members of The Blosser Reeder Financial Strategies Group, in 2015.
Tyler's focus is holistic estate planning, asset allocation analysis, tax planning5 and business development. He is also responsible for product research and client technology. Using a goals based approach, he helps build customized investment plans for high-net-worth individuals and families. Working as part of the team, he draws on the exceptional breadth of knowledge and experience to help build plans that address each client’s goals for wealth management, business succession, legacy/next generation wealth and estate planning.
He earned the CFP® certification and also holds his licenses for life, accident, health insurance and variable annuities. His educational background includes earning two B.A.s, in Business Economics with an emphasis in accounting and French, at the University of California Santa Barbara.
Tyler lives in Playa Del Rey and enjoys traveling, cooking, playing golf, hiking and boating.
Valerie focuses on client service and administration. She is the team's primary client relationship contact, ensuring a positive client experience.
James is primarily responsible for the team's portfolio reporting and client technology, as well as client service and trade execution.
Carrie focuses on equity, fixed income syndicate and options trading. She is well versed in restricted stock transactions and alternative investments.
